Bukalapak was founded by Achmad Zaky, Fajrin Rasyid, and Nugroho Herucahyono.

When it became a limited liability company, Bukalapak had already partnered with more than 10,000 SMEs, with only 5 employees at the office.

Bukalapak has amassed 400,000 products, 80,000 Pelapak, and 360,000 users.

Bukalapak app is launched on Android.

The Bukalapak app is now available for iOS. Total of 250,000 SMEs have joined Bukalapak’s marketplace.

Satyalancana Medal was awarded to Fajrin Rasyid from the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 27 September 2019. The number of registered accounts at Bukalapak is more than 70,000,000 accounts, with average visits being counted more than 420,000,000 times per month.

Increase in 4 million pelapak and partners. In total, there were 6.5 million Pelapak and 7 million Mitra as of 2020. Wholesale products supply expansion to 28 provinces in Indonesia through cooperation with more than 300 local distributors, growing 15 times since early 2020.
